I was a little nervous about how the metal and wood combo would look in person, but it's even better than the photos. The contrast between the two materials gives my corner a modern edge that didn't feel too cold. Solid and perfectly sized for holding my lamp and a book.

The mixed materials really pop in my living room; the metal base feels sturdy while the wood top has a smooth, nice grain. It was surprisingly easy to put together, and now it holds my coffee mug and a small stack of books perfectly. I keep catching myself admiring how the contemporary design breaks

The metal base feels sturdy, and the wood top has a nice warm grain that stands out. Assembly took me about 20 minutes, which was fine. Only wish the shelf was a bit deeper for my magazines.
