The fluted base is what sold me and it looks even better in person, the ridges catch light in a way photos don't capture. Solid wood too, so it doesn't wobble when my cat jumps on it.

I was a little worried the fluting would look too busy in my small living room, but it actually adds just the right amount of visual interest without feeling heavy. The solid wood construction gives it a sturdy, quality feel that I can tell will last.

The fluted base is the first thing everyone notices when they walk in—it really anchors the whole corner. I’ve had it for two weeks now and the solid wood build hasn’t wobbled a bit, even with a heavy lamp on top.
