Wasn't sure about the textured finish at first but it actually gives the piece a nice warmth against my plain walls. Five shelves is more room than I expected, and the potted plants and paperbacks I loaded on don't make it wobble at all.

The classic look fits my living room way better than the flimsy particleboard shelf I had before. Each shelf holds a decent stack of hardcovers without any bowing, and the texture on the finish makes it look pricier than it was.

The five shelves give me plenty of room for my planters and paperbacks without looking cluttered. It's a solid, nice-looking piece that fits right in with my living room decor.
