I hung mine vertically in the hallway and the marble pattern catches the light so nicely you'd think it was real stone. The glass face feels substantial, not flimsy like cheaper clocks I've had.

The marble print on the glass face looks far more expensive than what I paid, and the way light catches the pattern changes throughout the day. It took me all of five minutes to mount it on the wall, and the silent sweep second hand is a blessing.

The marble effect on the glass is even more striking in person, and the fact that it can hang vertically or horizontally made it super easy to fit on my narrow entry wall. It's a solid, heavy piece that feels much more expensive than it was.
