The open shelf is roomier than it looks, so my stack of magazines and a small plant fit without crowding the space. The black base gives it a solid, grounded feel that pairs nicely with the lighter wood top. Really happy with how it anchors the corner of my living room.

The two-tone look is exactly what I wanted for my living room, and the light wood against the black base makes it pop without being too loud. Assembly took a bit longer than I expected, but the shelf is sturdy and holds my remote and a small plant just fine.

The open shelf is perfect for my magazines, but the wood finish shows dust a bit more than I'd like. Still, the black base gives it a nice sturdy feel that works well in my living room.
