Vavuniya Storage Bench

Wasn't sure I'd use the storage much, but I've already stuffed two spare blankets and a pile of throw pillows under the seat. The heathered brown fabric matches our couch better than the photos suggested, and it's firm enough to actually sit on while tying shoes.

The hinged lid on this thing is surprisingly sturdy, and I can finally stash all our throw pillows and extra blankets out of sight. Upholstery feels soft, not scratchy like I worried it might. It's doing double duty as seating and storage in our hallway.

Bought this for the end of our bed and it's already full of extra pillows and winter blankets. The hinged lid stays up on its own while I dig stuff out, which I didn't expect at this price. Only wish I'd measured first, because it's a bit longer than my old bench.
