The charcoal finish is darker and richer in person, and the drawer glides open so smoothly. I've already stashed my remote and a few game controllers in there, keeping the clutter off the surface.

I was worried the reeded design would look too trendy, but it actually adds a nice subtle texture to the room. The drawer glides smoothly and fits our streaming stick and a few magazines perfectly.

The drawer hides our TV remotes and random charging cables, which cleared up the coffee table nicely. I just wish the charcoal finish was a tiny bit smoother to the touch, but it still looks great for the price.
