I set them up on either side of the sofa and the contrast between the black metallic finish and the warm terra cotta base is really striking. The lamps give off just the right amount of light for reading without being too harsh.

The metallic black finish over the terra cotta base looks even better in person than in the photos—it catches the light in a really subtle way. I’ve got one on each nightstand now, and they give the whole room a warm, polished vibe without feeling too formal.

I love how the terra cotta base gives these lamps a nice weight and stability, and the black finish looks way more expensive than what I paid. They really warm up my living room corners without feeling too formal.
