The marble base is a lot heavier than I expected, which actually makes the lamp feel really solid and expensive. The gold finish is smooth and catches the light nicely on my nightstand.

I was a little worried the goldtone finish would look cheap, but it's actually really rich and catches the light beautifully. The elongated body makes it feel taller and more dramatic than I expected.

The white marble base gives it a nice weight and contrast against the gold body. It really dresses up my nightstand without taking up too much room.
