The metallic base has some real heft to it, so it doesn't feel cheap or wobbly on my nightstand. Even when it’s off, the layered goldtone finish catches the light and looks like a little sculpture.

I was a little worried the goldtone finish might look tacky, but it's actually a really sophisticated brushed metallic that catches the light beautifully. The way it doubles as functional lighting and a sculptural art piece is exactly what my entryway table needed.

The sculptural silhouette catches light from every angle, so it works as much as an art piece as it does a lamp. I keep catching myself staring at it instead of reading.
