The vertical line pattern on the base catches the light beautifully and really makes it feel sculptural on my nightstand. It's chic without being too fancy, which is exactly the casual style I was after.

I was a little worried it might look too plain in person, but the black vertical-line pattern gives it such a cool sculptural feel. It’s the perfect size for my nightstand and adds just the right amount of light without being overpowering.

The black finish is sleek enough for my nightstand, but the base feels a bit lighter than I expected for the price. That said, the vertical lines catch the light nicely and it casts a warm, even glow that works well for reading before bed.
